About Vijayasai Degree College
G E N E S I S :- The Sree Rama Educational Society was founded in the year 2015. This is a Non Government Organization Registered under the Societies Act of 2001 in the year 2015 under No. 92/2015. The main idea of this organization is to support the poor living below poverty line in socio – economic and Educational institutions aspects. As a part of those educational developmental programmes, the Sree Rama Educational Society is running by Vijayasai Degree College .This College is recognized by the GOVT .of AP, Affiliated by RAYALASEEMA UNIVERSITY KURNOOL. The financial support by the Social Welfare Departments for all the below poverty children’s felt welfare department .
I am very happy to place before you a brief report of the college for the year 2015-18. We have great Pleasure to inform you that the Vijayasai Degree College has been set up in a beautiful campus situated in lovely and calm surroundings with the educational area. It is situated near where all the services are available. The institute has state –of-Art infrastructure and sources. It’s faculties are highly qualified and committed having PG, M.Tech and Ph.D, the laboratories have been designed and fully furnished and equipped eith expertise…….. All efforts have been made for placement of students with leading companies and also Multi National Companies.
The Course fees of the college are lowest and affordable. The main focus we are providing civil services and also we will give Integrated civil’s Coaching (U.P.S.C, A.P.S.C, S.S.C, Constables and son on) along with degree studies. We are also interested in imparting technical education to the students having excellent academic track record. We need whole hearted supported of the parents being stake holders, Student and lecturers and their Co-Operation and good wishes to make Vijayasai Degree College no.1 in the town. The college is worth seeing is believing. We do not lie because we don’t want to steal someone’s right to the truth…

The Vijayasai Degree College has decided to under go for community service with Vijayasai Degree College students. And they choose Peddahulthi village of Pattikonda mandal of Kurnool (dist) on 14.03.2019.
The community programme has started at 9.30 A.M. On 14.03.2019 Monday at Peddahulthi village Sri. K.RAMANAREDDY Garu, single window president has presided over the programme. Many of the Peddahulthi people and village elders are participating in this community service programme as a part of this programme we install a information stalls cleaning roads and planting trees.
The programme was started with prayer song sung by Vijayasai degree College pupil and then sri. K.ramanareddy Garu Single window president Inaugurate the information stall After inauguration he spoke in the meeting that there is nobody can do like this programme earlier ,now Vijayasai degree college has came to do community service like planting trees road cleaning, installing information stalls with college pupil is very much useful for the peddahulthi village people and he informed that the people everybody should visiting the information stall and know the message about health, education immunization, adolescents care, and disadvantages of early marriages. And he appreciate the , principal and all the staff members and the pupil of Vijayasai degree college for conducting the community service programme at Peddahulthi village. Sri U.GOVINDHAPPA resident of Peddahulthi village speaking in the meeting that all the Peddahulthi people with myself very thankful to Vijayasai degree college Pattikonda for conducting to community service programme at Peddahulthi village.
Anganwadi supervisor and workers are also participating in the programme and they informed the people of DUDEKONDA on pre natal and post natal care of pregnant women and immunization. Every newly born child has timely vaccination. He informed in the meeting every mother should give mother feeding to her baby up to six months and every mother should maintain cleanliness and hygienic before feeding their baby’s. Mother should have healthy and nutritious food every day.
Hand Wash
Sri K.RAMANA REDDY secretary cum correspondent of VIJAYASAI Degree College while speaking in the meeting to the public of CHINNAHULTHI village where to “Community Service Programme” was went on 14th march 2017. That the hand washing with soap improves health and saves lives by preventing infections. Many infections start when hands are contaminated with disease causing bacteria and viruses. This can happen after using the toilet, changing a child, diaper, coughing, sneezing, touching other people’s hands and touching other contaminated surfaces. He told in the meeting that hand washing with soap works by removing bacteria and viruses from hands before they get a chance to cause infection s or spread to other people.
This is why cleaning hands with soap particularly after contact with fecal material from using the toilet or cleaning a Childs bottom is so important likewise two major illnesses.
K.RAMANA REDDY continues the speaking in the Community Service Programme. That everyone can protect themselves, their families and their communities through hand washing with soap. It requires few resources just soap and a small amount of water yet the benefits are huge. When hand washing with soap is practices regularly at key times such as after using toilet or before contact with food, it can dramatically reduce the risk of diarrhea and pneumonia, which can cause serious illness and death. Hand washing with soap also helps prevent the spread as other infections such as influenza and Ebola.
Cost is not the principal barrier to hand washing with soap. Almost everyone in the world can afford multipurpose bar soap or detergent to make soapy water, though recent survey have found a soap access equity gap, meaning the world’s poorest households are less likely to have access to soap. Furthermore households which do have access to soap commonly use it for laundry, dishwashing and bathing rather than for hand washing investment in hand washing promotion are very cost effective and can also maximize the health benefits of other interventions from access to clean water and sanitation infrastructure to nutrition promotion.

Every year 1.7 million children do not live to celebrate their fifth birthday because of diarrhea and pneumonia. Hand wash with soap his among the most effective and inexpensive ways to prevent these diseases. This simple behavior can save lives.
